Get ready to embark on a whirlwind adventure with the kind-hearted Doctor Dolittle this May half term! Join Illyria for their brand-new musical adaptation of Hugh Lofting's beloved classic.
Bring a picnic a blanket or folding chair and prepare to be whisked away to the sleepy village of Puddleby-on-the-Marsh. Meet Doctor Dolittle, a village doctor with a big heart who treats all his patients, furry or feathered, with kindness (even if it means a slightly empty wallet!).
But everything changes when Doctor Dolittle discovers a remarkable secret: he can talk to animals! Soon, news of this incredible talent spreads like wildfire, and animals from all corners of the world cry out for his help.
Join Doctor Dolittle as he sets sail on a thrilling adventure aboard a leaky old ship. By his side is a loyal crew of animal friends: Jip the dog, Chee-Chee the monkey, Dab-Dab the duck, and Gub-Gub the ever-hungry pig (who wouldn't mind a few extra cakes on board!). Gates open 6.00pm with the peformance starting at 7:00pm. This is an outdoor performance and is picnic style. Refreshments, and snacks will be available, but visitors are welcome to bring their own picnics. Please bring a folding seat or picnic blanket to sit on as there is no seating provided.
