Merrymakers Knight School

This event is free with castle admission and does not need to be booked in advance.

This is a great, fun event that will put you through your paces, teach you new skills and knightly techniques, and give you the chance to become a Castle Knight...

Our band of Merrymakers Knight Trainers led by Sir Benfro of Pembroke Castle will take you through some brilliant tasks including dressing up as a Knight or Knightess, marching in the Merrymakers Procession, learning how to act knightly such as swearing allegiance, bowing and curtseying, storming the Castle gates, and learning sword skills.  Activities are supervised but a parent or guardian must be present at all times with children taking part.

There will be four Knight School sessions throughout the day which will last approx 50 minutes.

Free sessions take place at 11:00, 12:15. 2:00 & 3:15
